Home in Lake Oswego, Oregon

Well Richard and I finally made it home from San Cristobal, Chiapas on Sunday evening close to midnite.
Although pretty much tired from our adventures, we will never forget the wonderful experiences we have had. From our trip on the Toyota pickup to the Lakes, going through barbed wire fences to see the covered ruins of the pyramids, the huge towering canyons in a tour boat that stalled for about a half hour with the hot sun beating on our heads and the crocs waiting for us, having such a wonderful lunch prepared for us from Alfonso's family cooked on a wood burning stove, riding through Palenque on the winding road worst than the road to Hana on Maui, Hawaii, enjoying the beautiful natural lakes with colors as the color of emerald green and azure blue, to the tallest water fall, and in between having a wonderful time going out in service with our brothers and sisters, almost being bitten by a dog but saved by a dog biscuit we brought from Oregon, being spiritually encouraged how else can we discribe our adventure to San Cristobal, Chiapas!!!

We hope those of you who have read our adventures will be able to taste what we tasted for a short two weeks. How much more so for Art and Sofia as they experienced a month in San Cris and starting Bible studies and experienced the field ministry by doing a lot of walking, and I mean a lot of walking and enjoying speaking to the many people there. Making new friendships as only Jehovah can provide.
Adios San Cristobal, until our next visit. Jeannita and Ricardo
